The Directors of TaguchiMail are pleased to announce that the company has completed a second capital raise.
The additional funding will allow the company to continue its business development, sales and software development roadmap.
In addition, the injection of funds will allow the business to continue to recruit the best possible talent. Says Simon Chen, CEO of TaguchiMail, “We are focussed on driving revenue, acquiring customers and building out our distribution channel. We have been delighted with our progress to date and the additional support shown by our investors continues to validate our business model”. TaguchiMail welcomes Luke Wong

Luke Wong has been appointed Senior Designer, User Interface and Experience.
Luke previously worked with realestate.com.au and has a solid track record in web design and programming. Says Simon Chen, CEO TaguchiMail, “We had been trying to recruit Luke for several months. Dean Maidment appointed Chief Operating Officer

As the former Marketing Manager of Australia’s most successful online travel company, Webjet.com.au, Dean has over seven years hands on experience in online marketing, communication and operations.
Dean was at Webjet from its inception as a public company start up in 2000 to September 2007 where its Total Turnover Value (TTVL) was annualised at approximately AUD $330M.
Due to the initial start up nature of Webjet, Dean was part of a small senior management team, and was across all commercial areas of the business from software development and implementation, airline and GDS contract negotiations, Brand Management and compliance (online and offline), customer service, BPO outsourcing, finance, corporate reporting, public relations and communications through to ASX reporting and communication compliance.
With 20 years experience in the travel industry and particular travel automation and online systems, Dean brings a rare combination of technical and commercial skills that will be invaluable to the growth of the TaguchiMail and the execution of its business plan.
Dean will oversee all operational and back office requirements of TaguchiMail’s business, both locally and internationally.

Loki Davison joins TaguchiMail™

TaguchiMail™ Launches Website

The new TaguchiMail website was launched today. The site, which was designed and built by the Pixel Group in Melbourne, has an environmental slant to it, bringing the carbon-neutral philosophy of the company to life.
The site will encompass all facets of web optimization and the content and email messaging will be linked into the TaguchiMail application. Visitors to the site will be able to see actual web statistics and metrics in real time.
“I have always been impressed with Pixel’s professionalism and their efficiency in managing web projects,” says Simon Chen, CEO and Co-Founder of TaguchiMail.
“It was an easy decision to engage them.”
Pixel has been awarded a 12-month contract to build and manage the TaguchiMail web presence, including the TaguchiMail application user interface.

Reseller Beta Program Launched

TaguchiMail announced today that it has launched a private beta of its forthcoming reseller program. Initially available in Asia only, the program is designed for digital agencies and email service providers.
“It is abundantly clear that the market wants what TaguchiMail offers — that is, broadcast optimized email,” says Simon Chen, CEO and Co-Founder of TaguchiMail.
“It is not our intention to build a global sales force and do the heavy sales lifting when a perfectly acceptable go-to-market model already exists,” he continues.
The TaguchiMail Reseller Model allows agencies, digital specialists and email service providers to offer the TaguchiMail suite of products directly to their clients, under a private-label agreement if they wish.

The Management and Advisory Panel of TaguchiMail today engaged Watermark, Australia’s leading patent and trademark law firm, to manage TaguchiMail’s IP protection processes.
“It is critical that we as a company protect our intellectual property, both here and internationally,” says Dr. Michael Hewitt-Gleeson, Chairman of the TaguchiMail Advisory Panel.
It is anticipated that the first patent, which covers the unique TaguchiMail optimization algorithm, will be lodged at the US Patent & Trademark Office by the end of March, 2008.
